Just Try Bowls Roll Up
Our Open Day is important for recruitment, but our Club does not want to lose potential members because they cannot attend on an Open Day. We want everyone to be able to "just try" this wonderful sport of bowls.
Members are always free to bring family and friends to the Club in order to have a "roll up" provided dates are put in the diary book. There will be no green fees payable, if it is a recruitment event. Members will take responsibility for their guests when bringing them to the Club.
There will be no set dates set aside this year.
We are always open for clubs, societies, schools, employers and others to bring groups of participants to just try bowls, but in these circumstances the Club needs to be approached well in advance to establish whether coaches would be available to provide support.
It is also possible for a new bowler to join our free coaching course, if there is space available.
